They are small, almost like dirty marks but the piece is fully laundered, likely very small colour transfers, perhaps during ironing in its previous life. They are small and just about visible in the photographs. We rarely create scarf cushions from non perfect specimens but in this instance the item is extremely beautiful. This is mentioned for clarity. We feel they do not take away from the item’s charm and beauty. This can be expected in vintage, formerly used / pre-loved textiles, there is no structural damage (no rips, plucks, holes, tears, snags, frays), or restoration. It is a very special colour way that we don’t come across often.
