Beautiful vintage Turkish Oushak hand-knotted Anatolian area rug from the 2nd quarter of the 1900s. The rug has dark blue and red background that contain the inner and outer medallions. The special feature of this rug is its beautifully designed ivory color central medallion with colorful designs scattered throughout the medallion. In the center of the medallion there is a design that resembles “the Freemason’s Eye of Wisdom” pattern. The corner spandrels are also in red color. It has a yellow and gray border that brings together a modern color scheme into a vintage hand-knotted rug.

Vintage room-size Turkish kilim from the 2nd quarter of the 1900s in an all over geometric pattern in autumn colors of red, orange, yellow, ivory and gray. The color scheme in this kilim are warm Southwestern colors and the beautiful colors of the sugar maple trees in the New England area during the autumn season in the United States. The kilim is a flat woven rug so both sides of the rug can be used. The vintage kilims tend to have a lighter side (the side that has been exposed to light over the years) and one with the darker colors.

Located in Barrington, IL
Vintage Turkish Oushak in a geometric Heriz Serapi pattern in ivory, baby blue and yellow colors from the early 1900s. A pale baby blue central medallion is set in a wonderful cream color field in an open design. The border is in saffron yellow. Other colors in the field and border include pink, green, blue, red, and gray.
