The special feature of this rug is its beautifully designed ivory color central medallion with colorful designs scattered throughout the medallion. In the center of the medallion there is a design that resembles “the Freemason’s Eye of Wisdom” pattern. The corner spandrels are also in red color. It has a yellow and gray border that brings together a modern color scheme into a vintage hand-knotted rug. The kilim is a flat woven rug so both sides of the rug can be used. Beautiful Turkish Anatolian village area rug in a prayer pattern (Mihrab). The Turkish area rug was artistically woven in the early 1900s in the Anatolia region of the country. The use of natural organic vegetable dyes that mellow over time clearly shows the superiority of these rugs. The rug has a pale yellow/green and red field color with designs in gray, orange, cream, and red. The two borders are in red and with designs in brilliant colors of orange, yellow, green, and gray.
