Italian 18th Century Rococo Archtop Painted and Gilded Mirror
By Interi
Located in Dublin, Dalkey
Italian 18th century Rococo archtop painted and gilded mirror. The frame is decorated with gold leaf c-scroll leaves and urns with a shell sculpted and carved molding. It has marbleized painted inlay with muted colors of blue, green, and gray with wine veining creating a marble effect. The mirror is richly decorated with carved wood elements and a coordinating trim. These frame the central shelf corner of the carved urns which signify the possible use of an over mantel for a large room with high ceilings. The mirror has the original mercury mirror and is distressed due to age. The back of the mirror is also original. This mirror was created in Italy during the Rococo era of the 18th century. Rococo style is characterized by elaborate ornamentation, asymmetrical values, and curved or serpentine lines as reflected in this mirror. This mirror was owned by Sybil Connolly, the world-famous, Irish-based fashion designer of the 20th century. She was known for creating the gowns worn by Jaqueline...

Simplicity, minimalism, warmth and functionality are the hallmarks of Scandinavian design. The sublime Vetlanda collection by Michael George for Sambhav honors those same tried and true design principles. Sophisticated but unfussy and oh-so livable, in nuanced colors that will take your breath away, they are simply perfect for the way we live today. Rugs and floor coverings Rug pattern: Morfar Dimensions: 9' x 12' Fiber content: Viscose Construction: Handwoven Colorway: Ice & Pink Handmade rugs are subject to size variations of up to 3%. Due to variations in dye lots, actual colors are not guaranteed to match samples and strike-offs. Minor variations in texture and construction are inherent in fine woven carpets and natural fibers. These variations should not be construed as defects. Since Schumacher was founded in 1889, our family-owned company has been synonymous with style, taste, and innovation. A passion for luxury and an unwavering commitment to beauty are woven into everything we do. Schumacher's sister-brand, Patterson Flynn...
