All is about geometry and volumes in this rare bangle bracelet. This bracelet was created by the goldsmith and designer Roger Lucas for the jewelry house of Cartier back in the 1970. It was carefully crafted with a bold look in solid yellow gold of 18 karats with high polished finish and topped with a platinum part in the middle. Embellished with a great arrangement of twenty two natural earth mined diamonds. This is a very unusual and one of a kind statement bracelet, with great eye appeal. Fitted with a push boxed lock with a hinged slash for extra safety.
History
This piece it belongs to the period of 1968 and 1970. In 1969, Michael Thomas became president of the New York City branch and was instrumental in hiring young designers who modernized the company’s lines such Cesar, Aldo Cipullo, Jean Dinh Van, Roger Lucas, Jean Mahie, and Lisa Sotilis.
