Round House
Vacation Home by Emily Summers Design in Colorado Springs, CO
Perched on a steep wooded hillside above the historic Broadmoor hotel in Colorado Springs, the “Round House” reveals an exuberant architectural experiment with circles on a daring site. The house is primarily composed of three overlapping circles with three distinct structural systems floating over one another and connected by broad generous decks to capture amazing views. Local builder and developer Don Price (1914-1977) originally designed and built the experimental round house for himself and his family in 1968.
