Vintage Resin Ovoid Sculpture Red, Grey, Purple, Tan, Yellow Desk Accessory
Located in North Miami, FL
This wonderful unusual vintage small resin ovoid egg shaped sculpture has floating resin pieces inside in large shapes of the colors of purple, tan, gray, yellow and translucent inside the red resin. The red casts a color of magenta red. Each side is different. It is from the 60's. The custom lucite base is an additional add on to hold the sculpture in place and give it a little height. It has an incised indentation for the sculpture to sit in. The lucite base is at 3.25" x 3.25" x 2" H. The resin sculpture egg shape alone is 5" H x 3" D x 3" W. It has great shape and great colors. Makes a great desk accessory and console table sculpture. Sorry the photos do not do justice to the brilliant translucent resin colors especially the red. We just had to make a new lucite base with a new incised indentation for the resin egg...

Wave Lounge by Eduard Locota. Turquoise-Blue Acrylic Glass Sculptural Design
Located in Timisoara, RO
Once upon a time, in the middle of the Ocean, on a very still day, while the sun was shining, a wave has appeared. Why did the wave appear exactly at that place and time? Nobody knows. What we know for centuries, is that the Ocean is never still, and always has waves at the horizon. We know that a wave is only energy. Energy transmitted through particles of water, causing it to swirl into an endless circular motion. And if not obstructed, waves have the potential to travel across an entire ocean basin. The story of the Wave Lounge was born once upon a time, while gazing at the never-ending blue horizon. Inspired by the vast energy of the wind and sea strongly colliding together, the idea of this monolithic functional sculpture was thus born. The concept As a piece of the Ocean, a strong presence of mass was needed in the style of Wave Lounge. The twist of a wave near braking point, encapsulated in time, that will completely charm the viewer’s eyes. With a total neglect for traditional design, this fully functional design piece will undoubtedly generate emotions. Be prepared to take a large slice of wave right into your home. Build process Build fully by hand, with acrylic glass as a primary material. For each piece, literally over 200 Kg of material was used for this monolithic functional artwork. it is necessary to pour over 60 colored layers of liquid acrylic...

Relic, Classical Male Nude Torso Fragment in Amber Resin by Dean Kugler
Located in Chicago, IL
This is an extraordinary amber colored resin sculpture of a Classic male nude fragment by artist Dean Kugler. Attention to detail and complete understanding of the human figure are evident. The sculpture is beautifully custom mounted on a steel base with a rust patina. Dean Kugler Relic 1 resin 23.50h x 20w x 6d in 59.69h x 50.80w x 15.24d cm Kugler uses scale and the juxtaposition of disparate elements in order to engage and challenge the viewer. He combines elements such as strength and weakness or beauty and damage to be experienced simultaneously within the same piece of work to create a tense energy. Kugler also incorporates the technical skill of tight rendering with the dynamism of abstraction to create this energy to add additional excitement and intrigue to his aesthetic.   Dean Kugler is a seasoned interdisciplinary artist, painter, and figurative sculptor. His 3D work is featured primarily at Gallery Victor Armendariz in Chicago. In the last three years, Dean has also been featured at Abend Gallery in Denver, The Figge Art Museum, and Bereskin Gallery in Iowa. He has shown at SOFA Chicago in 2017, 2018, and 2019 and participated in ArtPrize in 2013, 2014, and 2015. He sees himself primarily as a sculptor due to the challenges he finds and thrives on within the process. In all its beauty, crudeness, and subtleties, the figure offers infinite opportunities to express feelings and emotions. There is also a physicality to sculpture that requires the work to be experienced through movement in order to reveal more about the piece. Dean has always been drawn to the interactive nature of large-scale sculpture that is available to the public - he loves the idea that his work entices the observer to go beyond what they can see and add tactility to the experience. By using both realism and abstraction, he creates a visual that challenges the viewer to resolve what they are seeing. Therefore, providing a greater connection between the artist and the viewer. Caverna Contemporary Sculpture, by Eduard Locota resin Acrylic Glass & Marble
Located in Timisoara, RO
The sculptural group “Abstract Isometry” has been gravitating around the theme of fragmentation, slicing of the Earth and plasticity. In the contemporary context, channeled almost exclusively on our natural resources, once abundant natural resources such as fossil fuel, water and even clean oxygen, become rare commodities. In the current context focused on excessive and unsustainable consumerism, the 21st century welcomes us with a Darwinian transformation for both men and nature. Evolution which leads to the development of a synthetic man living in a synthetic nature. Heavy topics as regeneration and sustainable environment are thrown into the arms of the future generations, that have not been born yet. Thus, the artist’s creations highlight the synthesis through alternative materials used, such as: synthetic marble (resin and marble dust), synthetic resin (Plexiglass), synthetic cement (Jesmonite), charcoal, wood, and so on. His works have a powerful conceptual plasticity but also physical plasticity, a concept that can be interpreted as modern works of the 21st century. Unique Because the artwork is entirely handcrafted and made to order; build process takes approximately 3-4 weeks for each artwork. Every artwork is hand-sculpted, molded and finished by hand by the artist himself. Because of this special build process, there will be small differences between every edition, thus unique, unique in the world. In addition to the artists signature on the piece of art, you will receive a “Certificate of Authenticity” signed and dated by Eduard Locota himself. Sculptural design piece, that will last for hundreds if not thousands of years. Memorable We here present you a contrasting composition with a memorable design. This extremely clean and Minimalist artwork produce the strong recognizable style of Eduard Locota that will lights up the space it will be placed in, as well as lift the eyebrows of the audience. Ultra limited edition of 19 pieces + 2AP. Acrylic glass and cultured marble...
