A painterly, Post-Impressionist sketch of San Francisco's St.Ignatius Church as viewed from Buena Vista Park beneath clouded blue skies with a view of the Golden Gate Bridge in the distance.
This California woman artist exhibited widely and with success including at the Society of Western Artists (Best of Show award 1987, 1995, 2000, 2005), the Oil Painters of America, the Alamo-Danville Art Association, Diablo Art Association, at the Alameda County Fair (from 1985), and the Haggin Museum Art League (prize, 2010). An educator, Della taught art classes in Lafayette, California and was Director of the internationally acclaimed Jade Fon Asilomar Watercolor workshops in Pacific Grove for 17 years. Pamela Della is a signature member of the Society of Western Artists, the Pastel Society of America, and the California Watercolor Society.

A substantial and lyrically painted watercolor view of the original Spanish colonial church and mission buildings at Carmel on the coast of California with a view beyond towards the Carmel highlands.
Henry "Hank" Volle first attended the University of Illinois and subsequently studied in Europe, including at the Klinger Institute, Vienna. Upon returning to the United States, Volle began to study with the water-colorists of the California Bay area. Essentially a plein-air painter, Hank Volle painted along the California coast where he exhibited with success. He was also a member of the Santa Clara Watercolor Society and the Society of Western Artists.

Although born in Richmond, Lillie lived in Watsonville all her life. Her father, Frederick H. Hillman, grew up on a strawberry ranch in Pajaro, graduated from Watsonville High School in 1916, and served in France during World War I.
