A vantage point from the backside of Camel Mission's cupola, this watercolor is brightly painted with spring flowers and framed by a palm and billowing cumulous clouds behind. Signed by artist, František Salamánek (Czech, b. 1908) and dated 1983, in bottom right corner.

Salamánek, František (Czech, b. 1908) graduated from the School of Applied Arts in Prague and painted all over the Republic, known for his landscape art. He was a private pupil of Aloise Kalvody in Běhařov and a participant of a number of exhibitions. He was born in Doubravčice, lived in Prague-Michli, then settled in the village of Pikovice, today the local part of the village of Hradištko.
