From a series of works , an atmospheric color field painting subliminally based on changes of light and color studying shoreline, ocean , horizon to the sky. Different Seasons and different times of the day dictate each painting. Gradwell has stretched form and detail to present a simplfied ,concentrated vision into bands of different magnitude that meld and vibrate upon meditation.
