Thought Bubbles

2020

About the Item

The authentic thought is in the middle. POV is critical since with each bubble, there are different thoughts. Even the center bubble with an authentic/kind thought is dependent on your POV. How do the legs of the 'table' look to you? If you move, change your POV, how do they look then? This piece is full of messages and thoughts about thoughts. May it inspire your own thoughts about thoughts into your kindest thoughts.

PRISMATIC SERIES #2 VERMILLION/YELLOW/TURQUOISE
By Linda Jacobson
Located in Palm Desert, CA
The Prismatic Series is based on light, movement and color, abstract paintings expressing the changing qualities of the external world, without any limitations of form. Prismatic Series #2 is painted with many layers of oil glazes over acrylic washes to create luminous color. On gallery wrapped canvas. Linda Jacobson's paintings are lyrical abstractions inspired by her love of landscape and its elements: form, movement, light, and what she perceives to be its essence an energy or quality that goes beyond visual appearance. Born in Los Angeles, she received her BFA from California State College, Northridge, and graduated Summa cum Laude from the prestigious Art Center College of Design where she was mentored by pioneer California modernist Lorser Feitelson. Her work has been featured in solo and group exhibitions in galleries and museums throughout the United States and abroad, including MRG Fine Art, in Los Angeles; Gallerie Rohling, Berlin, Germany; California State University Channel Islands in Ventura; Karpeles Museum in Santa Barbara, California; BG Gallery in Santa Monica; George Lawson...
