The fourth piece in artist Courtney Jacobs's five-piece series titled Flazoops. This collection of dynamic abstracts utilizes a gestural and vibrant approach. Incorporating energetic motion through several different ways of paint application. "The colors and movement evoke a sense of drama," says Courtney.

About the Artist
Courtney Jacobs creates what she calls a "personal language" through her use of color, texture, composition and action. "If the painting inspires you, or sets a particular mood, or makes you feel free and playful, then I have accomplished my job," she says. She enjoys listening to a wide variety of music while she paints, from Richard Wagner to Nine Inch Nails. The Abstract Expressionism movement and action painters greatly influenced her work. During her free time, she enjoys playing the piano and singing.
