About the Item
Modern, elegant, and original mixed media (acrylics, pastel, pencil, and collage) painting on unstretched canvas with an irregular shape.
Through overlays and transparencies, the contemporary artist Federica Aiello Pini creates a space of possibilities: she inserts pieces pulled from her previous works on paper, ideally repeating the overlapping of different dimensions, universes, thoughts, and emotions.
An overlapping of times, which is what happens materially while she works, and what we do every day with our lives and memories: we take them back in our hands, observe them, manipulate them, mix them with what our life is in the present.
A new world emerges for us, a reality that we couldn't even imagine before.
This delicate and poetic work from her experimental phase has been on show in Federica Aiello Pini's solo exhibition "Flirting with Chaos", curated by Giovanni Pasetti at Galana Studio d'arte in Mantua, Italy, in 2019.
The artwork comes directly from the artist's studio, is signed on the front, and comes with a certificate of Authenticity.
It can be hung in a more casual and young style by simply using two clips (as in the photo), or if you want to frame it, for its particular shape and three-dimensionality, you can use a box-like frame, slightly larger than the artwork, in order to leave space around and in front of the painting, to let it "breathe".
Each piece is truly a one-of-a-kind creation and not factory-manufactured. All pieces are done by hand and all are subject to slight imperfections.
