About the Item
Jodi Fuchs creates artworks that speak to the chaos and stillness (and the reconciliation of these two forces) that is inherent in the human experience. She focuses on creating modern abstract expressionistic paintings that have undeniable energy. Years of inquiry into the metaphysical aspects of life have influenced her studio practice.
This original 48 inch high by 24 inch wide painting is an acrylic composition on canvas. It is Fuchs’ fascination with the pure creative force: understanding it, harnessing it and expressing it, that fuels her painting process. This painting is signed on the back. Born in New York in 1964, Jodi Fuchs is an award-winning contemporary abstract painter living in Southern California. Her education about color and pattern came on the job while working as a decorative painter for 20+ years in Los Angeles. Fuch's work has been featured on 50+ TV and film productions, graced the lobbies of hotels from New York to Miami to Portland Oregon.
