About the Item
"The Trees whispered Goodnight No. 2" is an incredible contemporary abstract by award-winning artist Katherine Filice. She has turned to abstracts in the form of sculpted and manipulated paper, ink & alternative materials. Using the luxurious Fabriano paper, handmade in Italy, Filice soaks the paper in Sumi ink and reconstitutes the paper into beautifully textured compositions. After the work is dried, so applies her methodical line-making practice to the piece. This particular work is sculpted to create a beautiful texture with bits of iridescent gold ink to attract the eye. Finally, the work is framed with archival materials, additional pictures upon request.
Unframed: 14" x 14"
We will ship this via standard parcel boxed with internal support to maintain the piece's integrity. The work will be fully insured during shipping.
