This painting brings to mind the flow of nature, whether in flower imagery or that of land and water, as the artist brings to us a sense of flow and ease. Painting with brushes, using photo references from walks in the woods, Marcia crops her black and while photos to pull out elements, such as contrasts, and looks for compositions that excite and lead the eye. “Gaudioso” is a smaller canvas 12 x 18 x 1.5 inches, unframed with clean, white edges. It is signed on the front by the artist.
