Bacalar, 2019 Contemporary Mexican Art, Abstract Painting Mixed media on canvas, oil and acrylic Signed and dated About the artist Cuauhtemoc´s work is the meeting point of the inevitable and the immovable, mixing senses and invoking the myth of chaos and pleasure. His work lacks norms, carving faces and disturbed dreams on wood inspired by German Expressionism and great masters such as Otto Dix, Egon Schiele and Max Beckmann. He studied at the School of Design of the National Institute of Fine Arts, the Academy of San Carlos and Casa del Lago UNAM. His works have been exhibited in Estudio Actual, Galería Aura, Casa de Arte Málaga, Galería CÓDICE, Vlady Center, among others. And he has participated in collective exhibitions at the University of Chicago, Excelsior Cultural Space, Cultural Center of Contemporary Mexico and the Mexican Chamber of Deputies.Details
