Minna George MA is a celebrated British artist, born in 1981 and currently based in London. She graduated from Chelsea College of Art and Design in 2003, followed by an MA from Kingston University in European Fine Art Practice, where she graduated with distinction. With a career spanning over 25 years, Minna George has garnered recognition both in the UK and worldwide.
Throughout her illustrious career, Minna George has achieved sell-out shows in the UK and internationally, showcasing her work in over 100 exhibitions. Her impressive list of collectors includes notable names such as the late Stanley Seeger, Will Smith, and Dame Penelope Keith, as well as institutions like the Museum of Modern Art in Kuwait.
Minna George’s artistic prowess has earned her recognition in prestigious venues such as Sotheby’s secondary market, the National Portrait Gallery in London, and the National Gallery in Kuwait. Notably, she was granted the rare opportunity of a solo exhibition at the National Gallery in Kuwait in 2008, solidifying her status as one of the few Western artists to receive such an honour.
