About the Item
This vibrant floral abstract artwork titled "Pink Blooms," created by French artist born in Kazakhstan, beautifully captures the essence of blooming roses through bold and expressive strokes. Part of her "Flora" series, this piece showcases the artist's deep love for flowers. Natalya works swiftly to convey her emotions in a single setting, aiming to captivate viewers with her expressive use of vivid colors.
The composition is dominated by lush pink rose petals, with each brushstroke strategically applied to convey depth and movement. The interplay of colors—vivid pinks set against a backdrop of fresh greens and subtle blues—creates a dynamic contrast that enhances the sense of vitality within the artwork. By employing a blend of impressionistic techniques, the artist allows viewers to feel the energy and spontaneity of a flourishing garden.
The textured background, rendered in muted tones, serves to accentuate the brightness of the flowers, drawing attention to their intricate details. This piece serves as a tribute to the beauty of natural forms, celebrating the vibrancy of roses in full bloom. Its lively palette and confident execution invite viewers to immerse themselves in the fleeting moments of nature's bounty.
Crafted in Natalya's art studio in Lyon, this painting will be carefully packed and shipped from France to your location, accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. Please note that colors may vary slightly between the monitor and the original artwork.
Created using acrylics on heavyweight, acid-free Italian professional paper, the piece is finished with a gloss varnish for protection against dust and fading.
It is sold unframed, with framed images provided for inspiration, allowing you to frame it according to your personal style.
It is signed on the front and on the back of the painting.
Natalya Mougenot id a french artist living in France for more than 20 years. She was born and grew up in Kazakhstan, the country known for its spacious steppes. She arrived in France 2003. Since that moment she loves her adoptive country. She started painting in 2017 and used it as a therapeutic and emotional release during times of crisis. She incorporates this therapeutic approach in her artistic creative process till now. In her artistic practice she refers to the terms of metamodernism, which proposes to look at the world from the position of the inner adult. As an artist and as a woman she translates the experience of her personal search for balance based on harmony between mind, soul and body. This balance, in her opinion, is the pillar for the inner adult. Important components of her work are authenticity, soulfulness, sincerity, emotionality and honesty. She immerses the objects and the characters in the world where there is no falsity, rudeness, loneliness and indifference. She works rapidly and is constantly sensitive to the details. Her artistic process is a fine balance between a pre-meditation and spontantainty which helps her to create her expressive atmospheric artworks with a modern touch of impressionism by cultivating a naive art approach. Natalya manipulates different mediums without a preconceived plan since she is guided by what she wants to express at the moment by embracing the quality of my materials. She does not deny that her artworks reflect her intuitive approach and her love for vibrant colors which represent her who she is. Natalya says she is never able to create the same piece more than once. Sometimes she paints from photos or images. Sometimes she paints from memory. She tells to herself : "Just be yourself when you create ".

Pink Flowers - Original Oil on Canvas by Laura D'Andrea - 2010s
By Laura D'Andrea
Located in Roma, IT
Pink Flowers is an original artwork realized by Laura D'Andrea in the 2010s.
Original oil on canvas.
Hand-signed by the artist on the lower-left corner.
Perfect conditions.
A very lovely still life characterized by a vase of very beautiful pink flowers.
Laura D’Andrea is an Italian artist and engraver. She was born in Sicily, where she currently lives and works. She studied printing techniques and especially xylography at the Academies of Fine Arts in Rome and Urbino, as well as Philosophy and Literature at the University of Grenoble. Her first exhibition was “La mia Sicilia” (My Sicily) in 1969 at the Galleria Flaccovio in Palermo, where, a few years later, she exhibited with “Hippies a Londra” (Hippies in London). In the 1980s, she moved to Il Cairo in Egypt, where she studied Arabic calligraphy and found the opportunity to realize a series of graphic works to be exhibited at the Egypt Academy of Rome. In those years, she dedicated herself to doing research on the historical Sicilian Baroque art and culture. Between 1986 and 1988, her solo show “L’Immaginario nel Barocco” (The Baroque Culture) took place at the Galleria Artivisive in Rome, at the Museum and Library of Ursino, at the Recupero in Sicily, and at the European Parliament in Strasbourgh. In 2002, she participated in the exhibition “Memoria Greca nel Mediterraneo” (Greek memory in the Mediterranean) in Sicily. In 2007, she exhibited in Rome and in Saudi Arabia. Between 2011 and 2015, she started exploring the world of jazz music, which would become an important subject for her future artworks; in those same years, she exhibited her works in England and in Belgium. Her artworks represent a leap in the Mediterranean Sea, between Sicilian and Arab cultures. Laura D’Andrea loves jazz music: on her canvases, we can perceive the sounds of places and people far in both place and time. Other important elements of her works are calligraphy and Archeoscrittura. Archeoscrittura is a fascinating practice consisting of artists exploring their own genetic memories for finding signs of archaic scriptures.
Laura D'Andrea draws inspiration from the depths of her personal memory, and from the study of symbols found in the Archaic writing in the Mediterranean. Her works can be viewed at the Museum of Modern Art Pecci in Florence; at the Museum of woodcut Carpi in Modena; at the Museum of Modern Art Maga in Varese, Milan; at the Museum of Modern Art in Valencia, Spain; at the Museum of Art Mart in Trento and Rovereto with the donation of Mirella Bentivoglio.
