"Wild Roses" is a semi-abstract impressionist oil painting on canvas by US artist, Trixie Pitts. The palette is outdoorsy, and includes a wide range of color including robin's egg blue, bright pink, bright green, light green, soft green, dark teal and light gray. Bold, spontaneous, the varied brushwork and different thicknesses of paint add to the excitement of this piece. The bright colors are held in check with the beautiful soft muted colors.
