By leaving his works untitled, Carbonell invites viewers to invent their own narratives—transforming each encounter with his art into a unique experience. His expressive style appeals to both children and adults, often drawing comparisons to a Rorschach test where everyone sees something different and smiles at something new.
This mixed media piece is a vibrant, chaotic celebration of creativity. Scribbled faces, whimsical creatures, and fragmented shapes swirl together in a riot of color and line. Layers of doodles—some joyous, others wild or surprised—spill across a soft pink and smoky background. Critics have likened Carbonell’s work to that of Cy Twombly, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Picasso, and Miró. His art has garnered international recognition and has been exhibited throughout the Americas, Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. He continues to live and work in Alcoi, Spain.
