Original painting on paper by Agnese Negriba- Painting welcomes the viewer to a magical natural world full of wonder. The colours are direct and bold, inspired by summer days and celebration of life. The shade of bright blue embodies the idea of clean sky, greens- prosperity of vegetation, yellow elements pierces through the shaded garden like a beam of sunshine. Bold and sensual female spirit plays with its surroundings like a chameleon. Grape vines add a touch of hedonistic atmosphere. The air is full of pleasure. This painting on paper is from the 'Garden Spirits' series from summer 2022 when Agnese lived and worked in a house with an extraordinary garden in the heart of London.

ARTIST BIO: Agnese Negriba is an image-maker working in the fields of painting, illustration, and graphic design. She graduated from Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design (London) in 2016. Agnese has lived and worked in London, Oxford, Paris, Riga, and Jurmala (a scenic seaside resort town by the Baltic Sea).
Agnese finds inspiration in various textual materials - poetry, texts about Indian philosophy and Yoga, classic novels. In her works Agnese explores various themes such as pulsation of life, fragility and power of nature, return to primordial elements, love, sensuality, serenity, and more.
