About the Item
Contemporary oil on canvas landscape painting by Polish artist Andrzej Kacperek. Painting is realistic, it beautifully captures sun light and shades on buildings. Place that is depicted on this piece is Volterra, a town in Tuscany.
ANDRZEJ KACPEREK (born in 1953) He first attended the State Collage of Art in Bielsko-Biała and later Graphic Arts faculty of the Academy of Art in Cracow. He graduated in 1978. He paints and draws. He has had around 30 individual exhibitions and participated in numerous collective exhibitions and shows in Poland and abroad, among others, in Katowice, Gliwice, Zielona Góra, Warsaw, Tokyo and New York. His works are in private collections both in Poland and abroad (USA, Britain, Germany, Japan, Sweden, Australia).
