Provenance: as with all the works we have by this artist, it has come from the artists estate in France. Description: This charming mid-century pastel by French Post-Impressionist artist Anne Marie Migette Perard captures a serene woodland scene, where a trio of slender birch trees bend gently in the soft light of summer. The composition is infused with the signature looseness and atmospheric texture typical of Perard’s work, with a delicate interplay of light and shade filtering through the lush canopy above.
