Shoreline III - Large Original Abstract Blue and Yellow Landscape Oil Painting

2019

About the Item

Bettina Mauel expresses vitality and sensuality in her abstract and figurative paintings. “I paint what I experience,” she articulates. “This includes landscapes, dancers, and people in motion, capturing them at a particular moment in time.” Her artworks often incorporate a sophisticated and vibrant sense of movement. This original seascape painting immerses the viewer in the serenity of gentle ocean hues. The artist skillfully layers soft blues, evoking the depth and tranquility of the coast, sea, and calming waves in an abstract representation. A fusion of modern aesthetics and the essence of coastal beauty, this original artwork embodies the organic allure of nature. The painting boasts a harmonious blend of sapphire blue, light blue, aqua blue, turquoise, and warm yellow, resulting in a soothing yet modern ambiance. The subtly textured layers add depth, making it ideal for contemporary coastal-style or modern home decor. Painted with oil on canvas, this original creation by renowned artist Bettina Mauel is a true testament to her artistic skill, sought after by collectors around the globe. This large horizontal artwork is 35 inches high by 67 inches wide. Mauel created this one-of-a-kind painting by placing several layers of acrylic paint on linen canvas with a balanced subtlety. It is stretched, wired, and ready to hang. It is signed and dated by the artist on the back. Free local Los Angeles area delivery. Affordable U.S. and worldwide shipping are available. Provenance: Artspace Warehouse. A certificate of authenticity issued by the art gallery is included. With a career marked by significant milestones, Bettina has achieved early recognition on an international scale. In 1985, her work was acquired by the renowned Deutsche Bank Collection in Germany, followed by a prestigious acquisition by the Rheinisches Landesmuseum in Bonn, Germany, in 1987. After numerous prestigious private and public acquisitions, her fame was revalidated in 2011, as she achieved a notable prize at the Florence Biennale. These public acquisitions and accolades underscore the enduring allure and impact of her art, captivating audiences and art enthusiasts worldwide. Bettina Mauel was born 1959 in Wuppertal, Germany. She studied at the Düsseldorf Art Academy with Professor Gerhard Richter and lives in Cologne, Germany. In 1984 she was asked by the city of Wuppertal, Germany to paint scenes of the dance theater of Pina Bausch. This had a major influence on the selection of themes in her imagery. Instead of focusing on spectacular poses, she honed in on the in-between: feelings, thoughts, and fears. Her works are represented by Artspace Warehouse Los Angeles and have been shown in numerous exhibitions and art fairs throughout Europe, North America, and Asia. Her artworks have been acquired by many notable museums and public institutions. Artspace Warehouse has been representing and exhibiting Bettina Mauel's original artworks since 2014. The gallery has been a 1stdibs partner since 2014 with consistently excellent reviews from clients worldwide. Memories of Summer
By Kathleen Keifer
Located in Los Angeles, CA
Kathleen Keifer is a California-based internationally collected artist. She is a leading force of the New California Realism. With a high level of technical virtuosity Keifer creates a new sense of reality with textures and colors that seem to add lighting effects and distinct shadows, confronting the viewer with new interpretations of familiar objects. This one-of-a-kind 12 inch square original artwork is a composition created with acrylic paint on canvas. It is wired and ready to hang. The sides are painted as a continuation of the front and it does not require framing. It signed by the artist on the front of the artwork. Convenient local Los Angeles area shipping. Affordable Continental U.S. and global shipping also available. A certificate of authenticity issued by the art gallery is included. Kathleen’s paintings invite the viewer to consider the complex relationship between time and timelessness. It is the sheer visual interaction between the elements, taken in their bare simplicity that interests her. For her, painting captures the very essence of time and its passage. She believes that actual sites and places have an individual magic. The goal is to take objects from popular culture and paint them in a new narrative context. Her complex approaches to popular board games present the subjects as living, tangible objects. Born and raised in Chicago, Kathleen Keifer is a second-generation artist. Her mother, also a fine artist, exposed Keifer to the world of art and supervised her training from a very early age. This legacy continues today as Keifer closely nurtures the development of the artistic leaning in each of her three daughters, inspiring a third generation of female artists. Her works are represented by Artspace Warehouse Los Angeles and have been exhibited and collected internationally, including Chicago, New York and London. Stark Canyon - Modern Original Colorful Abstract Landscape Painting
By Jodi Fuchs
Located in Los Angeles, CA
Jodi Fuchs creates modern abstract expressionistic artworks with undeniable energy. Years of inquiry into the metaphysical aspects of life have influenced her studio practice. This is where the act of creation is the muse. By following intuitive impulses, Fuchs' work speaks to the chaos and stillness (and the reconciliation of these two forces) inherent in the human experience. This original 24-inch high by 36-inch wide artwork is an acrylic composition on canvas. It is Fuchs’ fascination with the pure creative force: understanding it, harnessing it and expressing it, that fuels her painting process. This painting is signed on the back. The sides of this artwork are painted and it does not require framing. Free local Los Angeles area delivery. Affordable Continental U. S. and worldwide shipping available. A certificate of authenticity issued by the art gallery is included. Born in New York in 1964, Jodi Fuchs is an award-winning contemporary abstract painter living in Los Angeles. Her education about color and pattern came on the job while working as a decorative painter for 20+ years. One hundred thousand wine labels by Georges Duboeuf have been adorned with her art. Fuchs' work has been featured on 50+ TV and film productions, graced the lobbies of hotels from New York to Miami to Portland Oregon, and has been exhibited and collected worldwide.
