ARTIST: Daphne Bridgeman Jerrold (1899-1972) British

NOTES: Born in Bromley Kent who studied (along with her twin sister Phyllis) at the Slade School Of Art London in the early 1920's. Both sisters became painters and commercially worked as book illustrators mainly for children's publications. Daphne exhibited works at the Royal Academy London in the late 1920's and early 1930's working out of an address of 18 Rosecroft Ave in Hampstead London. She later lived near Statford Upon Avon again with her sister, and died in 1972 in Carmarthen Wales.
