About the Item
This painting was created during the winter storm season on the North Shore of Oahu. On days like this, the ocean turns almost entirely white from the foam - it looks like snow, and only in the distance do green waves reveal that it’s water.
People come to the shore to witness the powerful surf, while lifeguards call out warnings through loudspeakers, urging everyone to stay back.
This artwork captures the raw force of nature and the rare color states that can only be seen during these wild and dramatic day.
This painting is a perfect choice for a home office - it fills the space with energy and offers a refreshing escape from the monotony of daily routines and work.
The painting is made on American canvas, hand-stretched over a stretcher frame that I also built myself. I used professional French and Italian oil paints, and the surface is finished with a protective varnish.
Daria Molostnova lives and works in Hawaii, where she discovered the true beauty of the surrounding world. Her paintings reflect the local reality, expressed through her personal cultural code. A graduate of the Russian State University of Design and Applied Arts named Stroganoff, she earned her master's degree, blending the traditions of classical education with a contemporary artistic perspective.
Daria grew up in a family of professional artists, her mother being a renowned designer and lead doll artist of the Soviet Union. Since 1997, Daria has been a member of the Moscow Union of Artists, and since 1998, a member of the International Union of Journalists.
She has taught at the Russian-Italian Art School Perotti and the Correspondence People's University of Arts. She has conducted numerous workshops both in Russia and abroad, as well as team-building activities for companies such as Harpers Bazaar, Mercedes, and Coca-Cola.
Daria has participated in international artist residencies in such countries as Bosnia, France, and Italy. She is a participant in many Russian and international art fairs, competitions, and exhibitions. Currently, she collaborates with galleries in Hawaii and California.
Her works are held in several Russian museums, as well as in private collections both in Russia and abroad.
Daria's paintings are a fusion of flawless craftsmanship and a vivid sense of life that her work conveys. The inspiration and light embedded in her paintings will stay with you if you become their owner.

Pawlowski was born in 1949 in Poland. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. In 1979 he was awarded his "authorization and certification" by the Ministry of Arts and Culture in Warsaw. This recognition is the ultimate achievement for Polish artists. Immediately after reaching this stature, Jan was in demand for numerous individual and collective exhibitions.
