Dennis Orme Shaw was born in Cookstown, Northern Ireland, in 1944. He studied at the Belfast College of Art from 1962 to 1967. Dennis became recognised for his use of vibrant colours, tackling numerous subjects including landscape scenes, still life and figures. Exhibiting widely across Ireland, Orme Shaw has been presented with the Silver Award Medal from the Royal Ulster Academy.
