BIOGRAFIA DEL ARTISTA
Pintor bodegonista italiano afincado en Barcelona, Enrico Creci o Cresi desarrolló su carrera entre los últimos años del siglo XIX y las primeras décadas del XX, y cultivó un lenguaje de clara herencia barroca, que bebe a partes iguales de influencias del barroco italiano, español y flamenco. La suya es una pintura suntuosa, de calidades cuidadas y hábilmente conseguidas, de composiciones sobrias y sencillas pero a la vez ricas en su variedad cromática y lumínica, en el dinamismo de la disposición de sus distintos elementos, en la cálida atmósfera trabajada a base de medias sombras y primeros planos más iluminados. Creci está actualmente representado en el Museu d’Art de Sabadell, así como en diversas colecciones particulares.
