Description:
This vibrant impressionist harbour scene bursts with energy and colour, depicting a row of moored sailboats beside a lighthouse, with their reflections dancing across still waters. A church tower and whitewashed buildings rise in the background, suggesting a coastal village—likely inspired by ports in Brittany or Normandy. The scene is painted in a combination of gouache and oil on card, allowing for bold opacity in the boats and architecture while keeping the water and sky soft and translucent.
