Description:
In this moody, expressive village scene, French artist Fanch Lel captures the dramatic atmosphere of a rural hamlet beneath a stormy sky. The painting focuses on a cluster of whitewashed cottages with black slate roofs, dominated by a central chapel or church with a tall, narrow spire.
