This richly textured impressionist painting by Fanch Lel depicts a view of Moissac, a charming town in the Occitanie region of southern France, famed for its Romanesque abbey and sun-drenched scenery. The painting captures the town’s signature terracotta rooftops beneath a blue-grey sky, with a prominent church tower rising above the clustered houses.
