A French Cubist gouache on paper landscape by G Ricard. The painting is marked with the atelier stamp of Georges Ricard Cordingley. There is another painting of an autumn landscape to the back of the paper, see photo.
A strong and colourful painting of a tree in a landscape. The whole composition has been deconstructed into blocks of colour, oranges, yellows and greens. The tree to the centre is created almost as a reverse negative image. An intriguing painting that sings with colour.
