Walking Head with Cat is an acrylic painting on Fabriano paper by Gozo, created as part of an ongoing series exploring dreamlike environments, absurd encounters, and poetic symbolism. A sculptural figure with a voluminous head and slim legs walks a quiet pier alongside a black dog. In the distance, a solitary yellow arch introduces a symbolic architectural element, recalling metaphysical landscapes akin to the work of Giorgio de Chirico.
The gradient blue background evokes both sky and sea, dissolving perspective into flatness and infinity. Long shadows and spatial ambiguity suggest stillness, transition, and displacement. The work invites the viewer into a moment suspended between narrative and atmosphere.
