Bluebell Woods is an original painting on canvas, this painting was inspired by walks in Bagley Woods Oxford during the lockdown. It gave me a chance to go for walks in some beautiful places. I loved the way the light shone through he trees.
Jane Peart prints are available at Wychwood Art online and in the gallery. Jane Peart was born in London and studied illustration at Ealing School of Art where she graduated with distinction in 1975. She worked in a design studio in London before moving to Oxford in 1978. After many years of devoting time to pencil and pen & ink drawings, Jane took up etching – she now devotes most of her creative energies to printmaking. Jane Peart’s work has been exhibited at Printspace Bankside, London; The Affordable Art Fair Battersea, 2003 annually to date; The Brighton Art Fair 2004, 2006; The Contemporary Art Fair Battersea and annually during the Oxford Artweeks Festival. I also took part in the Edinburgh Art Fair 2011; she regularly exhibits with The Oxford Printmakers venues including; The Ashmolean Museum, Christchurch Picture Gallery, Linacre College, Woodstock County Museum, Radley College, The Said Building and Green College Oxford. I have also shown work at the Glasgow Art Show, the Chelsea Art Fair and Printfest, Cumbria.

Jane Peart

Bluebells come and go so quickly I was lucky to capture them before they disappeared. The combination of blue and green is lovely and fresh.
Artist bio: Lynda Minter is a London-based artist who has an interest in capturing impressions of how the landscape and cityscapes appear in a fleeting moment, bringing to life the complexity of how light and colour transforms shapes and mood which she finds exciting. Lynda’s colourful palette combining thick brushstrokes with rich colour to capture the vivacity of Britain’s varied landscape: recording over her long career the ever-changing skyline of London parks and the river Thames. St Martin’s School of Art BA hons in Fine Arts 1984 where she studied sculpture and a few years later made the transition into oils at the Slade Summer School. In 2013 Lynda was artist in residence at the River and Rowing Museum, Artist in Focus at The Dover Street Arts Club 2006 and has contributed to many solo and mixed exhibitions including the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition , The Discerning Eye, The Mall Galleries, The Chelsea Arts Society, The Painter’s Fine Art Society, Christie’s Wine Art...
