Jordi Pagans Montsalvatge began his artistic career in 1948. In 1956 he began to work in the studio of Josep Roca Sastre, an artist who decisively influenced his later career. Closely linked with Cadaqués, he was also a regular attendee of the artistic gatherings that were held at the Glaciar Restaurant, in Barcelona, together with P. Pruna, Rafael Benet, Prim, Figueras, etc. During his career he has won numerous awards and has held many exhibitions.
