About the Item
The tide rolls in under a marble sky leaving you to wonder what the evening will be like and, then, there's tomorrow being hinted at! The sapphire seas and yellow gold sunshine are much needed distractions from the excitement provided by life's mysteries. In this original marine landscape artist Laura Paray uses classic impressionist impasto and brush strokes to add motion, body and depth to the work while captivating the viewer's attention. She maintains a contemporary feeling to the work of fine art without sacrificing it's timeless quality. Paray earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts at the Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University followed by nearly ten years of instruction at the highly regarded Ridgewood Art Institute of New Jersey and a year at the famed Art Students League of NYC. Paray is a multi-award winning artist who has shown her work in juried shows throughout the northeast USA including the Salmagundi Club, Oil Painters of America and the American Artist Professional League. Paray framed her oil painting with a narrow oil rubbed bronze frame, suitable for either a traditional or transitional space.
