This interesting Mid-Century-Modern abstract pointillist cityscape oil on canvas painting is by Le Boreux (France, 20th Century). It depicts a colorful and vibrant brutalist cityscape scene, with jutting skyscrapers reaching outward toward a green-hued skyline. The buildings are painted in a delicate pointillist manner, and the work is both expressive and engaging. The artwork is signed "Le Boreux" in the lower right corner.
It was recently reframed in an elegant distressed white cerusé wood frame.
The artwork is in good condition for its age, with some light edge wear, craquelure, and a few small pinholes.
