Self-taught, he paints in his cellar, drawing inspiration from the painters Nicolas de Staël and William Turner . He sells his first watercolors on the quays of the Old Port of Marseille, and Cassis . He then moved to Paris, where he continued painting. Patrick Reault exhibits in Asia, the United States and France. The first of his lithographs was published in 1994 by Art Cadre Paris. The Hazan publish posters of his Provençal landscapes. He now exhibits permanently at Opera Gallery. Patrick Reault paints Provençal and colorful landscapes in his so-called Provençal period and proclaims his love for the skies and their spray in his maritime paintings.
