Created en plein air and highlighting the creamy stone of the buildings and the beautiful colors of flowers in full Spring bloom along the street, this beautiful painting features the bold colors and textures of the Venezuelan/American artist Maria Bertran.
The artist splits her time between Provence and Laguna Beach in California, working entirely on location and from life to create impressive depth and authenticity in her work. She obtained her BFA from Washington University in St. Louis, and has her work in collections on six continents.
