About the Item

ABOUT THE ARTIST MARTA RYNKIEWICZ is a Polish contemporary artist (born in 1983). She studied painting with Professor Henryk Czenik and graphic arts with Professor Jerzy Krechowicz, at the Faculty of Painting of the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk. She received her diploma in 2009. In 2007/2008, she studied at the Academy of Fine Arts of Brera in Milano. Marta Rynkewicz’s works portray reality in a graphical way. Her pieces are bound by the concise aesthetics of pop-art. The landscapes, interiors, architectural spaces are deprived of any human presence. The bright, flashy colours, clear light and holiday landscapes depict a summer mood. The perceptive and composition of her pieces allows the viewer to enter and participate in the world she creates. In her last series called "Dreams, Apparitions, Fantasies", the artist creates a deep tension. Which is one of the characteristic features of her art. PROVENANCE Exhibited at Katarzyna Napiorkowska Gallery. The gallery represents the artist. The Gallery of Katarzyna Napiorkowska is one of the first private art galleries in Poland. For over 30 years, the gallery has been presenting contemporary paintings, graphics, drawings, and sculptures. Our galleries are located in Warsaw and Brussels. The portfolio of the Gallery includes selected objects of renowned Polish artists. In 2015, our Gallery was awarded the prestigious title of the Ambassador of the Polish Economy in the European Brand category awarded by the Business Center Club. CONDITION Very good condition. The painting is not framed. One of the photos might present a visualisation of the frame. The painting might arrive rolled in a strong tube or a box. Such a transport method is very safe for oversized works and provides lower shipping costs as well. Rolled works can be easily stretched by placing canvas onto wood stretcher bars and/or framed by a local framer upon arrival.

Crazy Garden, Semi Abstract Floral Art, Vibrant Landscape Painting, Still Life
By Rosemary Farrer
Located in Deddington, GB
Crazy Garden is an original painting by Rosemary Farrer. The final painting in a series this evokes the moment when every plant is at its peak, in full exuberant growth. Tropical and other worldly in feel, magic realism in an English garden. Discover more of Rosemary Farrer's original artwork with Wychwood Art online and in our Oxfordshire gallery. Rosemary paints in oils and also makes original prints. The prints are in no way copies of the paintings, they are conceived of, and made, as a response to the special and wonderful effects that can be achieved only through the various techniques of printmaking, whether it be the graphic, dynamic marks of a linocut, or the subtle tones and textures achievable in aquatint and etching. Design, composition and the use of colour are what excite her. She spends a lot of time drawing and painting outside, back in the studio, she will distil these ideas into strong graphic woodcuts, and linos or subtly textured etchings. Recent monotypes draw together the threads of her different media, with their graphic shapes and rich painterly colours. She studied fine art at Camberwell School of Art and The Ruskin School of Drawing, and learned printmaking at Morley College [London]. She has exhibited prints...

"Starry Night on the Entrechaux Garden", Modern Landscape Mixed Media Painting
By Andrée de Frémont
Located in Clermont-Ferrand, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes
This artwork depicts a night lanscape of the South of France. The sky is studded with golden leaves stars. The red-roofed provencal house provides a fit setting for its flowered garden, illuminated by the moonlight, figured as a large yellow beam textured with silk paper. A proliferation of shrubs and climbing flowers are tangling and occupy the space of a large squared canvas, tempered by the immutable verticality of cypresses and by a large beige field in the bottom right. This piece is not framed. Andrée de Frémont...

Jerzy Mazur is an artist in whose work man has made a permanent home. His sculptures, bas-reliefs, paintings and drawings are linked by a recurring motif of a female figure presented on a neutral background, standing or sitting, full of concentration, experiencing internal dilemmas. The artist always shows this figure as a naked figure...
