The anthurium is bold and bright, taking up the majority of the foreground. It appears shiny and vibrant against the nearly monochrome background. Behind the flower, waves roll in to the bay. In the far distance, a few small structures light up the shore, with a towering mountain behind them, and a few clouds hanging above and to the right.
Signed "Motohiko Ono" lower right.
Remnant of possible title that has been painted over above signature, legible as "Cook Tropics".
