"Quiet Village"

Plastic Artist, Master of Art, Member of the Union of Plastic Artists (UAP) from the Republic of Moldova, Honorary Member the Academy of Art of Russia. Founder and President of the “Stati Art” Foundation from the Republic of Moldova, the Academic Foundation “Voice of Art” from Romania. Founder of the “Stati Art” Creation Course. I create easel paintings and graphic works, blending various styles and artistic movements, with a strong foundation in Impressionism and Expressionism. While I remain committed to figurative painting, my focus in each piece is to conceptualize its visual message, crafting archetypes (or symbols) through the depicted elements and characters. I also aim to highlight national traits within my subjects, expressing them through color, form, and thematic elements. I tend to reproduce in my works my inner world or the psychological state of the painted characters. The elements that characterize my painting would be chromatic expressiveness, stylization and abstraction of forms, vibrant touches of color in demi paste and full paste. The subjects in the works vary from plein-air landscapes, still life, human figures and portraits to large conceptual, abstract compositions. I had the most representative personal exhibitions at the European Parliament in Brussels, the House of Europe in the Hague, the Diplomatic Academy in Paris, the National Art Museum in Chișinău, the Academy of Arts in Moscow.
