About the Item

This painting is part of the “Sailboats” series. This series was created with the idea of maintaining the same setting, composition and perspective, but each painting conveys an unlimited variety of changing colours, tones, feelings and thoughts depending on the time of day, lighting and weather changes.  The painting “Sailboats in the misty dawn II” retains the same setting, composition and perspective, but changes in colours and tones immerse us in the nature of the misty dawn. Through color combinations I tried to convey the lightness and mystery of the early morning, when the sun barely appears through the veil of fog.  The work was painted in a relaxed manner, harmoniously combining the Impasto technique with transparent light layers conveying the haze and ghostliness of the atmosphere. This artwork is painted with high-quality oil paints on canvas using art brushes and palette knives. This unique painting is original, hand signed front and back by the artist and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.  The artwork was presented at the "100 Artists in Gondomar 2024" Collective Exhibition - Golden Room of the Multiuser of Gondomar, (Portugal) / August and September, 2024;  The artwork is equipped with a solid wood frame with black finish and silver on the edge. 1,5 cm in space between the edge of the canvas and the frame creates an iconic floating effect, tighter frame around the edges provides a sleek, contemporary style. Arrives ready to hang with installed hardware.  Colours on the picture may slightly vary depending on individual settings of your monitor.  All of my paintings are carefully wrapped and packed.  Thank you for your interest in the work of art!
