About the Item
For love of the sand and sea, the tan sand is resplendent with the vast layers of turquoise spreading from the ocean and across the sky. You encounter a contemporary marine landscape, a linear and clean composition, presented with realist brush strokes and style by Croatian American artist Rinaldo Skalamera. The imagery is minimalist and transitional in appearance, as well as a realist depiction of Cape Cod, Massachusetts. Skalamera graduated from the Art Instruction Schools of Minneapolis, attending on full scholarship, followed by studies at both the prestigious Art Students League and Fashion Institute of Technology, of NYC. Skalamera's work has been featured in multiple publications, shown and sold in prestigious locations for many years from Palm Beach and Naples to the Hamptons to Spring Lake and Beverly Hills and Chicago. This original 30x40 oil painting is finished in the quintessential transitional frame, the floater frame, custom made and installed by the artist.
