"This is a great memory for me. This is based off a photo my husband took on our trip to Split, Croatia. He made me ride a bike up a mountain (it was a hill -Marian- but sure felt like a mountain!!). And what a beautiful view of the city!"
About the Artist:
Senta was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and has previously resided in Virginia and Alabama. With her husband and three young children, she now calls Grand Forks, North Dakota home. While nothing is off-limits, she primarily draws artistic inspiration from the bold ways humans create with God-given resources. She started painting for the first time in December of 2020 after spending many pandemic hours coloring with her children and discovering a passion for art. Her desired medium is acrylic on canvas, and she prefers to paint in an impressionist style to capture the flow and energy of the subjects. She is a self-taught artist with a Bachelor’s in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, a Master’s in Public Administration from the University of North Dakota. She is currently a Doctoral Candidate from Strategic Leadership at Liberty University. She is also an Officer in the Air Force Reserves and paints with her youngest at home.
