It is double matted and enclosed in a simple light wood frame. The frame is in good condition, with a few very faint scratches.
Born in France in 1946, Evelyne Brigeois was an internationally acclaimed watercolor artist. Having grown up in a small town east of Paris, Brigeois was particularly drawn to places which seem to have preserved their timeless and peaceful aspect. From 1997- 2000 Professor at the Evangelical Lutheran Christian Academy of Latvia.
At the end of the 60s, in the 70s painted many figurative compositions of the historical genre. Reborn impression of cubism, painted still lifes and landscapes.
