About the Item
The narrative of the sea, its motion, changing light and power is compelling for those who love to be near it. Much of my spare time is spent either painting the sea or in rowing and sailing boats close to the surface. The visceral, glittering light and beautiful shifting shades of blues and greens are the motivating vision for this painting composed of layers upon layers of oil glazes to attain the depth and richness that only traditional oil techniques can achieve.

ARTIST BIOGRAPHY:
'Creativity has taken many forms for me during my career but, at its core is my love of drawing and painting, expressed in both traditional methods and time-based. I studied for my BA (HONS) at Bath Academy and later went on to complete an MA in Fine Art.
Part of this journey has included computational research and published papers on the relationship between Fine Art practice and computing.
