Marcia Wise’s painting, “Tea with Lemon,” is dominated by soft yellows and oranges and is a part of the artist’s earlier Still Life series from 2010-2012. This 24 x 36 x 1.5 inch oil painting on board was completely rendered using palette knives instead of brushes, and the technique used creates a sense of broken color throughout with the use of reds, greens and blues in detailed areas. Exquisite and precise, Wise loves bringing us up close for a better view by using larger than life imagery. Framed in warm cherry, this painting is 26 x 38 x 2 inches and is signed on the front by the artist.
