About the Item
Contemporary acrylic painting on canvas depicting a female in nude standing on a beach, near sea or an ocean, with a dog. The seascape is on the backround. Composition is created by geometric, mosaic shapes. There are mainly four colors: white, brown, yellow and blue. Painting is horizontal. Artwork's title is 'Girl with a houd'. It is signed in the front.
MACIEJ URBANIAK
Polish artist who graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts of Warsaw in 1990.
Rich in colors, Maciej Urbaniak's painted pieces have a rigorous visual structure reminiscent of mosaics, his compositions are constructed with rectangular particles.
He has exhibited his work in numerous solo exhibitions in some of the most important galleries of France, Germany, Japan, Holland and Denmark. His works are part of numerous private collection in Germany, the United States, Japan, Canada, Spain, Holland, Denmark, Switzerland and Poland.

The painting may arrive rolled in a strong tube or a box. Such a transport method is very safe for oversized works and provides lower shipping costs as well. Rolled works can be easily stretched by placing canvas onto wood stretcher bars and/or framed by a local framer upon arrival.
