"Guardians of the Primordial Woods" is a poignant new addition to my "Myths" series, intertwining the enigmatic beauty of Slavic and Scythian iconography with the wilderness of the natural world. This painting depicts the figure of a woman, her body adorned with ancient symbols that harken back to the Skifs and the Kyivan Rus, echoing the rich tapestry of our ancestors' mythos.
In her hands, she cradles a white bird, an emblem of purity, peace, and the spiritual messenger between realms. By her side stands a wolf, a figure steeped in folklore as a symbol of guidance, instinct, and the deep forests' untamed spirit.
